Weekly Activities

Sunday Mornings

Worship 9:00-10:15…Youth participate in the contemporary Worship Service, with some  students playing in the Praise Band.  The Youth group sits front and center of the sanctuary.

Bible Fellowship 10:30-11:45…Youth meet every Sunday in The Loft (our youth room) where we have food, games, hangout time, and then break into small groups which are divided by gender and age.  We believe that Small Groups are a great opportunity for students to really connect to other believers who are facing similar life changes and challenges.

Monday Nights

Skate Church – 6:00-8:30…This activity provides a safe, accepting atmosphere where students (grades 5-12) can skate, play video games, shoot pool or basketball, or just hangout with friends.  Skating begins in the South parking at 6:00 followed by Bible Study in The Loft.  We dismiss at 8:30pm.

Last Skate Church on May 24. Skate Church will break for the summer and resume in August at our new Ministry Center located at 11701 South Elm in Jenks.

Monthly Activities

Home Group meets the 1st Sunday of the month from 5:00-7:00pm in a Youth's home.  Maps to the home are available in the Loft. We always have food, fun and a great time studying the Bible.  If you are looking for a little bit deeper Bible study and more time with your friends, then this is the place to be.

Wednesday Nights

6:30exp logo-7:45…This is our mid-week Bible study. We offer music, games, cool videos, a place to hangout, a concession stand, and a live Praise and Worship band. We present relevant Bible Studies that talk about issues important to youth.

Big Events

Disciple Now is a great time for students to recharge their spiritual batteries.  It is an in-town retreat that’s full of crazy games, videos, live Praise and Worship Music, great Bible Studies, service projects, and tons of fun!  Students stay in homes for a full weekend and have the chance to bond with their peers.  This yearly event takes place in February.  Watch for more information!

Additional Activities…

First Baptist Jenks Student Ministry sponsors other events throughout the year to keep youth plugged in and involved.  These events include 5th Quarter Parties following football games, Middle School Fellowships, High School Fellowships, Girls’ Retreat, Guys’ Retreat, iServe Days (Community Service Projects), Spring Break Ski Trips, Spring Break Mission Trips, and much more.
