The Worship Ministry of First Baptist Jenks is committed to ENCOUNTERING God, EDIFIYING His body of believers, and EVANGELIZING a lost world. Worship is more than a scheduled set of services. It is a transformational process. God invites us into relationship with Him through the redemptive work of His Son Jesus Christ through the prompting of the Holy Spirit. He invites every believer to a deeper walk with Him...He transforms our lives...our response is worship. Because of growth and wide varieties of ages and backgrounds, we offer two services in which to respond to God’s invitation to worship. Our corporate worship gatherings utilize current music trends and a mixture of musical styles to respond to the invitation of worship offered by the Living God. We believe that Biblical worship is about a heart turned toward and reliant on God. It is a lifestyle of following hard after God. The natural outgrowth of spending time in God’s presence is a life transformed and ready to use for God’s glory. We offer more than words. We offer our heart, mind, soul, and strength. We offer our ALL! |
