Primetime (Adults 55+)

First Baptist Jenks has one of the most active senior adult groups, ages 55 and over, of any church – anywhere. Many have been members at FBC Jenks for most of their lives and have seen the church grow beyond even their wildest imaginations. With this longevity comes great opportunity to lead younger believers to faithful commitment to both the mission of our church and the mission of our 55+ ministry. We take our mission statement seriously, “Mobilizing our 55+ community to serve in God’s kingdom, enjoy life and finish well!” We want to reach out to our community, encourage one another, and minister as we would unto the Lord until the day He calls us home.

Bible Fellowship - Our Bible Fellowship classes meet Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:30.

Bible Study - Throughout the year we offer various specialty Bible Studies that may be targeted to men, women, couples, or a combination of people groups. They will often meet on Wednesday night.  Primetime Coffee Bar is a Monday morning Bible Study that takes place every week at 9:00am in the Coffee Bar. 
 
Outreach Ministry - Reaching out to others is one of our primary focuses in our 55+ Ministry. We recognize many unique needs for people over the age of 55 and strive to meet those needs, if it’s homebound, nursing home, hospital confinement, or grief ministry.
