Interested in missions?

Contact Jamie Pendleton, our Associate Pastor of Mission and Family Connection. He will connect you to opportunities meeting local needs, helping domestic churches, or spreading the gospel in other nations. You can also DONATE items every week in the mission room. We are always collecting donations for the Jenks Community Food Bank, Bixby/Jenks Outreach Center, and Kenya Schools and Churches.

Missions are a major part of our lives here at FBC, Jenks. God has called us all to be disciples and to make disciples of all nations. Being a missionary means that you are committed to go where God wants you to be, and do what he asks you to do. This is the perfect opportunity to use your gifts, skills, and resources. God has given you these gifts so you can use them to advance God’s mission. We divide our mission field opportunities in to three areas.

Every day you come in contact with people who do not know the Lord as their personal Savior. God may be calling you to be a light right in your own neighborhood. FBC Jenks, organizes community opportunities such as John 3:16 Mission, Dayspring Villa, Jenks Food Bank, Bixby Outreach Center and block parties, to have you get involved locally to share God’s love.

You may feel God telling you to go to another location in the United States to spread His message. Some of our past mission opportunities include Dallas, Denver, Kansas City, St. Louis and Oklahoma City.
