Associate Pastor of Worship, Tyler Sorie shares his heart on the importance of worship in the Church.

“Every good and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”

James 1:17

Our Father gives us many good gifts, two of which are the corporate gathering of believers and the gift of music. There are few things that are able to move people like music. When we bring these two gifts together and join in corporate worship, it moves the heart of God.

James 4:8 tells us, “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to You.”
James 4:10 says, “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.”

Our desire when we meet as a body and engage in corporate worship is to draw near to God and to humble ourselves before him. There are few things more unifying and humbling than being in a group of like-minded Christ followers and agreeing, in a spirit of surrender, about who God is and by being grateful for what he has done for us.

Worship Services

We offer a classic worship experience at 8:30 Sunday Mornings, featuring choir and hymns. That is followed by our modern worship experiences at 9:45 and 11:00 am, featuring our worship band and modern music styles. All services keep Jesus Christ and His Word the focus of our worship.
